The MR4-350 SS CAN UV system is part of a series of UV equipment developed specifically for enhanced intake water UV disinfection in the aquaculture industry. The UV unit creates a “barrier” that ensures no harmful microorganisms enter the production to potentially compromise the livelihood and quality of the species. The UV reactors have been optimized by extensive R&D. Computational Fluid Dynamics has been employed to optimize the lamp positioning within the reactor chamber, providing maximum hydraulic efficiency with minimum head loss, and minimizing he occurrence of “dark zones”, with untreated microorganisms.
