FuturaMat has developed a catalogue of bioplastic formulations, based on bio-based and biodegradable raw materials, that can be used in many sectors such as agriculture, technical parts, packaging, etc. The technical principle comes from the addition of a vegetal or mineral filler in a polymeric matrix and to stimulate, by functionalization of the fibers, the interactions between the two components in order to avoid segregation between the polar vegetal fiber with the apolar polymer.
