The event “The ETV Scheme: an opportunity to verify green technologies” organized by ENEA, Sviluppumbria Spa and ARPA Umbria as part of the LIFEproETV project ended successfully!
The conference was hosted by ARPA Umbria, with the attendance of Francesco Longhi – Director of the Umbria Sud Department of Arpa Umbria, Michela Sciurpa – Sole Director of Sviluppumbria, Andrea Sconocchia – President of the Order of Engineers of Terni, Carmelo Campagna – President of the Order of Accountants of Terni, Enrico Guarducci – President of the Order of Accountants of Perugia.
Emanuela De Marco from ENEA presented a contribution on the ETV Scheme as a support for green technologies, focused on the ETV tool and the opportunities deriving from its application.
Afterwards, Giovanni D’Angelo from the Italian Verification Body RINA Services S.p.A., who explained the ETV certification process and the role of the VBs.
The other remarkable speakers were two Italian firms who owns already ETV-verified technologies: HBI Group with Daniele Basso and DEREF with Marc Faverjon; they both contributed to the success of the initiative with their interventions and the sharing of their experience on the topic and benefits/opportunities arising from the verification of their innovative environmental technologies through ETV.
At the end of the event, a Q&A debate was held, moderated by Elisabetta Boncio, Sviluppumbria S.p.a. Laura Cutaia and Erika Mancuso from ENEA closed the works.
